1. Data We Collect

• Account Data: Email address, push notification tokens, and billing information (processed securely via Stripe).
• Administrative Data: Vehicle Registration Marks (VRM) and associated public/proxy records (e.g., MOT mileage, V5C logbook issue dates) retrieved via our authorized API partners.
• Telematics Data:GPS coordinates and true odometer readings retrieved securely via the Smartcar API when you explicitly authorize connection to your vehicle's OEM account.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use this data exclusively to operate the Phantom Gatekeeper security loop: monitoring for administrative cloning anomalies, verifying physical vehicle telemetry, and generating automated legal defense packets.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

Phantom Gatekeeper is a security tool, not a surveillance archive.

• Time-Series Telemetry: GPS and odometer logs are strictly retained for a maximum of 90 days in our secure database before being automatically and permanently purged.
• Account Deletion: If you cancel your subscription or delete your account, your telematics polling stops immediately, and all associated vehicle tracking data is permanently deleted from our active servers.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share necessary data with trusted processors strictly to run our services:

• Smartcar Inc: To authenticate and retrieve read-only vehicle telemetry.
• Stripe: To securely process subscription payments.
• Check Car Details / DVLA Proxies: To query public administrative changes for your VRM.
• Expo / Apple / Google: To deliver critical push notifications to your mobile device.
